Proteas wish Walter well

The Proteas’ management have wished fitness and conditioning coach, Rob Walter well, after he was appointed as coach of the Nashua Titans on Tuesday. Walter has been part of the Proteas’ setup since 2009 when he took over from Grant Compton, and is scheduled to begin his post on July 1st.

Petersen brings invaluable experience to Proteas ODI squad

Castle Lager Proteas opener, Alviro Petersen, is hoping his experience of English conditions will be to his team’s advantage in the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy taking place in England and Wales in June. Petersen was selected as the replacement for Graeme Smith, who will miss the competition because of an ankle injury.
