CRICKET SOUTH AFRICA (CSA) announced on Friday that the Willowton Group, manufacturers of Sunfoil Triple Refined Sunflower Cooking Oil, will be sponsoring the Sunfoil One-Day International Series between the Castle Lager Proteas’ and Sri Lanka.

“We are delighted to associate the Sunfoil brand with the Proteas for the remainder of our home international summer,” commented CSA Acting President AK Khan.

“We have had a very happy relationship with them since they became part of the CSA family. Their commitment isn’t just to international cricket. They are also involved in cricket development at grassroots level.
“Their total commitment to South African cricket is now in excess of R20-million and that does not count the amount of approximately R700 000 that they are donating to the education of under-privileged cricketers through their sixes and fours initiative.
“I am also very happy to announce that we will be meeting with them towards the end of January to discuss a possible long-term sponsorship.”
Abdul Razak Moosa, Willowton Group CEO said: “We are delighted to be on board for the One-Day International series against Sri Lanka after a successful Test Series. It has been a remarkable summer of cricket to date and we are looking forward to an exciting ODI series ahead. Our partnership with CSA has grown from strength to strength over the past few months and we are excited for what the future holds.”

The other matches are at Buffalo Park, East London (January 14), Chevrolet Park, Bloemfontein (January 17), De Beers Diamond Oval, Kimberley (January 20) and the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg (January 22).
