CRICKET SOUTH AFRICA (CSA) has postponed the Annual General Meeting (AGM) set down for Saturday, 27 October 2012. This will now take place on Friday, 30 November 2012.

This has been done in terms of a special resolution passed today by the Members’ Forum of CSA. The Members’ Forum represents all the affiliates of CSA and is the supreme authority of cricket in this country.

This has been done for the following reason:

To bring about the necessary harmonisation between CSA’s proposed governance structure, and the respective recommendation of the Nicholson Committee of Enquiry and CSA’S SASCOC membership obligations.

CSA has consulted all relevant parties, including the Minister and SASCOC, who all agree that a postponement of the Annual General Meeting is advisable until this matter is resolved.
