The Nashua Mobile Cape Cobras have won the toss and will bat first in their Momentum One Day Cup match against the Chevrolet Warriors at Sahara Park Newlands.

The pitch looks to be much the same as the pattern at Newlands this season, with a bit of a greenish tinge that suggests the batsmen might have to work a bit.

The Cape Cobras have suffered a major blow in their bid to reclaim second place on the log with the withdrawal of Justin Kemp due to a slight hamstring strain.

He is replaced by Boland paceman Ferisco Adams, who has made a handful of Twenty20 appearance for the Cobras.

The Warriors have included South Western Districts batsman Christiaan Jonker, and go into the match without a specialist spinner as Simon Harmer has been omitted.

Cape Cobras:

Richard Levi, Andrew Puttick, Stiaan van Zyl, Dane Vilas, Justin Ontong (capt), Yaseen Vallie, Alistair Gray, Johann Louw, Charl Langeveldt, Ferisco Adams and Lizaad Williams.

Warriors:

Jon-Jon Smuts, Ashwell Prince, Christiaan Jonker, Colin Ackermann, Davy Jacobs (capt), Wayne Parnell, Craig Thyssen, Aya Gaqmane, Basheer Walters, Andrew Birch and Makhaya Ntini.
