The Sunfoil Dolphins won the toss and elected to field first in their RAM SLAM T20 Challenge match against the bizhub Highveld Lions at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead in Durban on Friday.
The bizhub Highveld Lions are the early front-runners in this year’s tournament after two wins from two matches while the Sunfoil Dolphins have yet to play a match after their opening fixture was rained out.
The hosts are able to call upon the services of former England all-rounder Ravi Bopara while left-arm seamer Mthokozisi Shezi has been drafted into the team in place of paceman Kyle Abbott who had been included in the Proteas’ team currently taking on Pakistan in a test match.
