Proteas batsman JP Duminy will make his television commenting debut during the two-match KFC International T20 series between South Africa and Pakistan starting in Durban on Friday. Duminy is currently into the fourth month of the rehabilitation of his Achilles injury, and is looking forward to his television debut.

“I’m quite excited but probably more nervous at this stage,” Duminy said. “It’s going to be weird being on the other side but it’s always been a platform that has interested me.”

Duminy joins the renowned South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) team as an analyst, and will offer in-depth analysis and feedback on the Proteas’ performance on the park.

The first KFC T20 International takes places at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead on Friday, March 1st 2013. The match will be broadcast live on Super Sport HD, SABC Three and 2000 FM
