Momentum, sponsors of One Day Cricket in South Africa, today announced that they will come to the Pink Drive party in a big way, financially.
With Momentum already one of the major sponsors on the day, the financial institution, have further pledged to contribute R100 000 every time a six hits the giant inflatable Momentum sign directly.
The Pink Drive will take place during the 3rd Momentum ODI at the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium on Sunday, 17 March 2013.
Momentum’s fantastic contribution is in addition to their commitment of R10,000 for every six hit into the Momentum Family Area and R1,000 for every ball that hits a Momentum billboard. Irrespective of sixes – Momentum will donate a minimum of R50,000 to PinkDrive.
Bidvest are also coming to the party with a solid R1,000 for every ball that hits the boundary rope.
Added to this, the majority of the perimeter board advertisers have also committed to donating R1 000 every time the ball hits their boards as well.
Anyone can contribute to the campaign – to donate R20 to PinkDrive simply sms the word ‘PinkDrive’ to 40158.
These donation commitments and a fully “Pimped in Pink” stadium on the day will go a long way towards raising funds and awareness for a worthwhile cause. Fans attending the match and those watching on TV are encouraged to wear pink to show their support on Sunday. If everyone in the stadium wears pink, there is a chance of setting a world record for the most people wearing a single colour, in one venue, in support of a good cause.
Tickets for the ODI game at the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium on the 17th March are selling fast. There are still just over four thousand tickets remaining.
Tickets are available online from www.ticketpros.co.za, Postnet outlets or at the stadium ticket office -make sure you don’t miss out!
