THE Easterns Titans franchise announced on Friday that Herschelle Gibbs will be joining them for the rest of the RAM SLAM T20 Challenge as a replacement for Scott Styris who is no longer available.

Gibbs will link up with the Nashua Titans at their training session at SuperSport Park on Saturday morning.

"Gibbs comes in for Scott Styris. We have a big game coming up and I am positive his experience will come in handy," said coach Matthew Maynard.

Gibbs is famous for his knock of 175  in the 438 match against Australia on March 16, 2007, and for his innings during the ICC World Cup in the West Indies against the Netherlands when he became the first man in the history of international cricket to score six sixes in an over.

The Nashua Titans play the Chevrolet Warriors in the qualifier match next Wednesday with the winners going through to the final next Sunday where they will face the bizhub Highveld Lions.
