India U19s bowl first against South Africa

India under-19s have won the toss and chosen to field first in their Round Two match against the Coca-Cola South Africa U19s at the Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam, India on Tuesday. The match is seen as the dress rehearsal before Saturday’s final that both teams are expected to take part in, barring a massive two-match loss against India today and Zimbabwe on Thursday by South Africa at this point.



South Africa make three changes to their line-up, starting with the captaincy. Aiden Markam makes a return to the side and also takes the responsibility of Captain today, with Dayyaan Galiem and Andile Phehlukwayo the other two to make a come-back.



South Africa team:


Aiden Markam (capt), Yaseen Valli, Bradley Dial, Justin Dill, Clyde Fortuin (wk), Dayyaan Galiem, Sinebhongo Ntshona, Gregory Oldfield, Kagiso Rabada, Jason Smith, Andile Phehlukwayo, Hayes van der Berg (12th man).


India team:


Vijay Zol (capt), Akhil Herwadkar, Shubham Kajuria (wk), Shreyas  Iyer, Deepak Hooda, Sarfaraz Khan, Abhimanyu Lamba, Kuldeep Yadav, Amir Gani, Atul Singh, Richkey Bhui, Jagdish Zope (12th).
