The Coca-Cola under-19s are ready to face their final battle of the youth quadrangular series when they meet their hosts at the Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam, India, on Saturday. It will be the culmination of three weeks spent in unfamiliar conditions in their bid to prepare for the ICC U19 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates next February.

“It’s been a very challenging tour,” team captain, Yaseen Valli said. “None of us had been exposed to these kinds of conditions before and it was a tough learning curve when we arrived. That said, this is the best cricketing experience of my life so far and it’s definitely given us a taste of what we can expect in Dubai.

“It’s very important to us to finish this series on a high because a lot of hard work has gone into our preparation. We don’t expect it to be easy, we know full well that India are going to show us their best performance yet with their national pride at stake, but we’re looking forward to giving them our very best as well. It’s definitely going to be a match to remember.”
