The Blue Label Telecoms Proteas have lost the toss and will bowl first in their ICC World Twenty20 warm-up match against Bangladesh "A" at Fatullah on Tuesday. AB de Villiers will captain the side, with Faf du Plessis sitting out due to a hamstring injury.
Proteas team manager, Dr Mohammed Moosajee said: " Faf experienced tightness during the third KFC T20 against Australia on Friday evening. Further assessment revealed a Grade 1 strain to his right hamstring. He has been receiving intensive treatment and will be rested for the two warm-up matches in an attempt to make sure he is ready for the first match on Saturday.
" Dale and Morne have responded well to treatment and will be given a full run in the warm-up matches to assure us of their full fitness."
The match is an unofficial fixture and both sides are allowed to make use of all 15 players in the squad.
