Rusty Theron has come to light as a key contributor to the success of the Chevrolet Warriors in the past few seasons. His ability to bowl Yorkers and produce effective changes of pace has made him renowned as a death bowler in limited overs cricket where he has regularly defended small targets with success.

This earned him a national contract before he had played a match for the Proteas but he has justified the faith shown in him by already having a ‘fifer’ to his credit after only 4 appearances in the 50 overs format.
