What began as a simple idea to get more children playing cricket has grown into South Africa’s largest national grassroots sports programme. Backed by a long-standing partnership with KFC since 2010, the programme reaches over 123,000 children every year across all 9 provinces and 16 Cricket Unions, giving every child, regardless of background, the opportunity to belong to something bigger than themselves.

Beyond the boundary, KFC Mini Cricket is shaping the next generation of leaders. Through the values of teamwork, discipline, and respect, young participants are learning life lessons that extend far beyond the cricket field.
